In the March 2008 issue of Helping in Hope, the Executive Director’s message indicated that Catholic Charities AIDS Services was the first Upstate agency to undertake a syringe voucher program. It has come to our attention that we have in fact joined the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York, which has already established syringe access as part of their overall prevention efforts. Catholic Charities is pleased to be able to increase this service for the community.
