For many of those we serve, life’s transitions are sometimes challenging ones. If they are able to meet some of their goals, they may still need help on others.

Recently, a client came to us needing help moving since her current apartment was unsafe. She had found a new apartment on her own and paid the security deposit, but she was unable to afford the cost of movers to move her things to her new home. As a case management team, we were able to secure funding to meet the moving costs.

This relatively small assistance enables the client to move on time and keep her security deposit. She felt a sense of accomplishment.
