VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

 

Catholic Charities AIDS Services welcomes community volunteers to assist in carrying out its mission. Currently we are seeking the following skills and abilities for volunteer tasks:


Board of Directors: community members who have professional skills to offer in the areas of law, finance, marketing, strategic planning and/or continuous quality assurance. Terms are four years. Individuals with HIV/AIDS and other diverse groups are encouraged to apply.


Fund Raising: assist the agency with follow up on sponsor solicitation, obtaining raffle and auction items, set up and clean up of events, program design and other assorted event tasks.


Grant Research and Writing: assist the Executive Director in conducting grant research and writing to enable the agency to apply for corporate and private foundation funding to support our services.

Clerical: filing, copying and miscellaneous tasks.

Client Support Services: assist in holiday adoption program, moving furniture for new apartments, personal care item pickups, filing and other support tasks.
